CELEBRATE ST. PADDY'S WITH DRINKS AT THESE 5 ALBUQUERQUE BARS

|

Looking for a little craic (fun) on St. Patrick’s Day? Albuquerque, with its plethora of bars and pubs, has got you covered.

Here are a few places to celebrate this March 17.

Boese Brew Co.

Whether you want to head to their NE Heights or downtown locations, you’ll have a great time celebrating St. Patrick’s Day at this popular bar. They’re famous for their highly perfected pub food, some of it with a southwestern twist. But did you know they also have a Corned Beef & Bacon Melt that will have you drooling? They also have a full menu of cocktails, including all the classics, as well as year-round and seasonal tap selections from IPAs to lagers.

Bourbon & Boots

Who says you can’t play cowboy on St. Patrick’s Day? Slide into those boots and get ready to dance the night away at this energetic bar and grill just at the crossroads of Route 66. Head over for Happy Hour for a Mezcal Old Fashioned, Pear Gin Fizz, or Bad Apple Mule. Or go for a night of dinner and dancing and fuel up with their Fried Catfish, Green Chile Brisket Mac ‘n Cheese, or a Fool’s Gold Burger. And yes, there’s plenty of beer to keep your pint glass filled to the top.

Red Door Brewing Company

If St. Patrick’s Day is all about the beer for you, then this is a great place for your celebration. This brewery is sassy and sharp, just like its beers. Their highest priority is making the best beer in the city – and creating a comfortable atmosphere in which to enjoy these delicious beers.

Thirsty Eye Brewing

Locals love this unique, artistic brewery for its eclectic designs, casual vibe, and extensive menu of craft beers, wines, and other beverages. Try the Odin’s Eye rye ale with juniper berries, or the Citrus Buzz honey wheat with orange blossom. Be sure to check out their in-house art exhibits while you’re there.

O’Niell’s Pub

If you want to get your Irish on, head over to this pub for the amazing beer and food. Celebrate this special day with Guinness Bangers & Mash, Shepherd’s Pie, Fish & Chips, or the aptly named St. Patty Melt.
