Dog training allows your pup to learn new skills, so you can take him to the park or a dog-friendly restaurant for a fun night out. The trainers around our Fayetteville apartments work with all ages and offer sessions that best meet your needs. The trainers include:
Cape Fear Dog Training
Founded in 1952, Cape Fear Dog Training is the oldest dog training club in North Carolina. It's licensed by the American Kennel Club and strives to "create a public appreciation of the value of trained dogs." One of the offerings includes the Canine Good Citizen classes. To pass, dogs must show that they can behave at home, in public, and around other dogs. The test is held at the end of the six-week course.
RiverRun Dog Training
At RiverRun Dog Training, the team will have your pup barking less and wagging his tail more. The obedience sessions welcome dogs three months and older. They meet once a week for an hour, and the classes are kept small for the best results. Covered topics include coming when called, walking loosely on a leash, and entering a door with permission. Additionally, RiverRun also offers AKC Rally Obedience. It is for both beginning and intermediate students and provides a great way to bond with your furry friend.
Beyond Basic Dog Training
As a teenager, Joel Gutierrez dog sat for a K-9 officer. That's when he realized he had a special bond with animals. Today, Joel owns Beyond Basic Dog Training, where he helps owners have well-behaved pets. Sessions include behavior, obedience, and off-leash. Joel also offers fun classes where food-motivated pups can enjoy learning some new tricks.
After some training, take your dog on a fun shopping trip to his favorite pet store. Finally, to become a resident of The Heights at McArthur Park, please contact us. We will gladly show you everything our apartments in Fayetteville have to offer.
