While in high school, James Bazzelle discovered his culinary talent. He later earned an associate's degree in Food Service Management and relocated to Charlotte. Today, James proudly owns Mert's Heart & Soul. It is one of the top restaurants in the city and has been featured on the ever-popular show, Diners, Drive-ins & Dives. Don't miss the fried shrimp po'boys. They feature fried shrimp, lettuce, and tomato remoulade sauce on a hoagie bun. Save room for a slice of the delectable red velvet cake.
