Enjoy Live Music at Charlotte Concert Venues
When you want to enjoy a night of music, Charlotte is home to several concert venues that always offer exciting shows. You can hear rock, country, and everything in between. The best places for concerts near our Charlotte apartments include:
PNC Music Pavilion
You'll find the PNC Music Pavilion in the University City neighborhood. It opened in 1991 as the Blockbuster Pavilion and is known across the state for hosting outstanding live music. Over the years, artists like Brad Paisley, Janet Jackson, and The Beach Boys have taken to the stage. The venue seats over 18,000 fans, and you can easily purchase tickets online or at the box office. All shows are rain or shine.
Bojangles Coliseum
When Bojangles opened in 1955, it became the first coliseum in Charlotte. At the time, it was the world's largest unsupported steel dome coliseum. Renovations in 2016 brought upgrades like a new sound system and updated concession stands. Bojangles hosts an array of events throughout the year, and you can see everything from symphony performances to the world's top touring artists. Check out the upcoming shows online.
Spectrum Center
At the Spectrum Center, you'll find open walkways, terraces, and exposed staircases. They're "designed to encourage conversation between guests," and the steel and brick elements highlight the foundation of Charlotte's heritage. A range of musical acts perform here, and you can watch everyone from Lizzo to Carrie Underwood. Tickets are available online, and you'll find around 30,000 off-street parking spaces within a fifteen-minute walk of the center.
Before the show, enjoy some Chinese takeout. You can order Beijing duck, lo mein, and other tasty dishes. To call SouthPark Morrison home, please contact us. Our leasing team will schedule a tour where you can discover our apartments in Charlotte firsthand.
