Nestled on the main campus of the College of Southern Idaho, the Herrett Center for Arts and Science is where you can see everything from contemporary art to a complete mammoth skeleton. Not only does it welcome thousands of visitors every year, but it is a great place to learn and spend an afternoon. Here are some of what the museum has to offer near our Twin Falls apartments.

Jean B. King Gallery of Art

Step into the Jean B. King Gallery of Art to experience unique national and international exhibits. The gallery strives to bring art awareness to Twin Falls and showcases contemporary pieces and various art topics. Upcoming displays include Selections from the CSI Permanent Collection (July through August) and Works by Lynne Haagensen (September 20th - November 26th).

Roy and Verna Marie Raymond Gallery

In the Roy and Verna Marie Raymond Gallery, you can see a fascinating exhibit called Journeys: Just Passing Through. It features unique artifacts around the world. Additionally, as you make your way through, you'll learn about the ability to move from place to place, from our earliest ancestors to landing a man on the moon.

Faulkner Planetarium

When the Faulkner Planetarium opened in 1995, it became home to the largest planetarium theater in Idaho. It transports viewers to faraway places, and through state-of-the-art technology, you'll see the universe unlike ever before. Current shows include Sea Lions: Life by a Whisker, Volcanoes: The Fires of Creation, and Solar Superstorms with a live sky tour. The films play at select times Tuesday through Saturday.
