Looking for something fun to do this holiday season? Meridian is hosting plenty of festive events, so load your calendar and add these outings to your schedule.
Meridian’s Annual Ornament Drop
This event is for those who love to create – and who love a little adventure. All you have to do is make a handmade ornament, using any medium you like. Then, you’ll label your ornament and fill out the event’s form. Finally, you take the ornament to downtown Meridian on the weekend of Dec. 11 and hide it for others to find and admire. You can even drop hints on the location of your ornament on social media using the hashtag #MeridianOrnamentDrop. It’s such a fun way to connect with the Meridian community!
Ice Skating at the Village
The Village at Meridian Ice Rink is open for the season! Be sure to book your reservation before you arrive. You can check in via text, which will get you right onto the rink. And if you want to purchase last-minute tickets, you can head to the rink and use your phone to scan their QR code, making it a simple transaction. Have fun on the ice!
Paws & Claus Holiday Photos
If you have a fur baby, you might want to capture the memory of another beautiful holiday together by taking your dog or cat down to The Village at Meridian on through Dec. 20 between 4 and 7 PM for a photo with Santa. Just be sure to make a reservation before you go.
Light Up Meridian
This event reflects a favorite tradition of the season: driving around town to check out the beautiful holiday lights and displays in each neighborhood. This event will be available through Christmas Day. All you have to do is check out the community map so you can find the participating homes around Meridian and admire all the work they put into making the season a little brighter.
Season of Giving
Head over to The Village at Meridian’s concierge lobby and visit the Mouse House. There, you will find cookie shingles upon which are written wishes made by local youth in need. Pick the wish you want to grant and bring back the gift by Dec. 19.
