Entering the gardens from the parking lot, The Reinhard House is the first structure visitors encounter. The house dates back to 1840s downtown Savannah. It was formerly the family home to William and Anna Reinhard. Then, in 1990 facing demolition, the house got moved to the garden grounds. Today, the house stands in all its beauty and serves as a meeting location for special events and gardening clubs.
Explore the Grounds
There is plenty to peruse in this garden, which has over 10 acres of land. In addition to flower spaces like the perennial gardens, there are also vibrant roses. Visitors can admire the David Austin English Roses or breathe in the Fragrance Rose Garden. What's more, you can check out the vegetable gardens and native plants garden area and trails. You can even reflect by the pond or enjoy the picnic area.

When you're looking for ways to support the lovely facilities, there are a few ways to do so. The easiest way is to become a "Friend of the Garden" by donating. The affordable donation levels benefit the expansion of the grounds and its programs. Another way to provide support is by purchasing an engraved paver to leave a special message or honor a family member or friend. You can also volunteer your time, whether you are a member of the garden or not.
