The very first Tropical Smoothie Cafe opened in 1997 in Tallahassee, Florida. They initially served just smoothies, but in the years that followed, they expanded their menu to add additional healthy options. Their mission is to inspire a healthier lifestyle with a bit of tropical fun. Their laid back, beachy vibe comes through in each location, including the new Pooler restaurant.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe is also dedicated to helping the community. They partner with a group called Camp Sunshine, based in Maine, to provide memorable experiences for kids with life-threatening diseases.

Delicious Meal Options

If you prefer to keep things light with a smoothie, you can't go wrong with the Blueberry Bliss, made with strawberries, blueberries, and bananas. Another good choice is Bahama Mama, a strawberry and banana creation with hints of white chocolate and coconut.

For a more filling meal, try one of the flatbreads. The Cali Chicken Club, which is topped with plenty of bacon, avocado, tomatoes, and romaine, is a tried-and-true favorite. Tropical Smoothie also offers a selection of sandwiches, including the Chicken Caprese Sandwich, Cuban, and Turkey Apple Dijon.
