A night time view of Factors Walk in Savannah

CELEBRATE HALLOWEEN WITH A VISIT TO THESE 3 SPOOKY SITES

|

Looking to level up the spooky factor this Halloween? Then you’ve got to check out these famous Savannah destinations! From ghosts grabbing patron’s ankles in pubs to creepy whispers heard echoing through cobblestone streets, keep reading to discover our favorite haunted spots in the city.

17Hundred90 Inn & Restaurant

This restaurant and inn is one of Savannah’s best haunted destinations. From pots and pans thrown at kitchen crew to shiny pennies showing up on patron’s tables in the bar, this is the place to be for a spooky Savannah encounter. It’s speculated that there are three ghosts at the 17Hundred90 Inn & Restaurant. So make a reservation for dinner and drinks and be on the lookout for any ghostly encounters.

Factors Walk

Explore Factors Walk after dark and experience the creepiest of Savannah’s historic destinations. Not only does it look just like it did hundreds of years ago, but there have been countless reports of disembodied voices, shadowy figures, and echoing footsteps. While you’re there, be sure to swing by the Cotton Exchange Building, the Stone Stairs of Death, and the various sealed-off tunnel entrances.

Moon River Brewing Company

Moon River Brewing Company is a must-see hotspot during spooky season. Originally constructed in 1821, this haunted destination has plenty of dark history from well-documented encounters with “Tony”, the grumpy ghost, to frequent appearances on ghost-hunter TV shows.

And if you’re ready for more fun (but less spooky) adventures in and around the Savannah area, then you’ll definitely want to check out other blog posts from Olympus Carrington.
