Maybe you’ve always wanted to be stylish but you just don’t have a knack for fashion. Or perhaps you know your style well – it’s just that it takes so much time to find the kind of clothes and accessories you love. No matter your situation, online subscription clothing services make it easy to fill your wardrobe with clothes that help you look and feel your best. We’ve put together a quick list of services to get you started.
Stitch Fix keeps things simple. Take your style quiz to get started. From there, a stylist will select clothes suited to your unique style. The service carries over a thousand ever-rotating brands in a wide range of sizes and prices – so whether you just want some high-quality basics or avant-garde ensembles, you’re likely to find what you’re going for here. When you receive the package in the mail, you try the pieces on at home. There is a $20 stylist fee, but that money goes toward anything you decide to keep. You have three days to decide what you keep and what you send back. Shipping, returns, and exchanges are free. No subscription required.
Nordstrom’s Trunk Club has a similar setup. After you fill out your style survey, you will be connected with a stylist. The stylist will put together a box of items (a “Trunk”) and you will receive a preview before it ships. As you might imagine coming from a Nordstrom service, Trunk Club features premium brands – something to consider if you have a tight budget. Like Stitch Fix, the $25 service fee goes toward any items you keep. As a bonus, if you use your Nordstrom card for the service, Trunk Club will waive the fee entirely. You have five days to decide what to keep and what to return. No subscription is required.
Frank And Oak Style Plan
Frank And Oak Style Plan specializes in high-quality basics. Once you fill in the details about yourself, a box of three items will be curated by a stylist and algorithm. You get the chance to preview and customize your monthly box before it ships. Just like the other two services, there is a service fee, but the $25 goes toward any item you keep from your box. Currently, Frank And Oak Style Plan offers 30 days to decide which items you want to keep – quite a bit longer than its competitors.
