Hofwyl-Broadfield Plantation

This former rice plantation offers all kinds of recreational opportunities from picnics to birding to hiking. Leashed pets are welcome in the outdoor areas and trails.

Jekyll Island

There’s nothing like a day at the beach with your pup. Jekyll Island offers several pet-friendly beaches including Jekyll Island Beach, Driftwood Beach, and Great Dunes Park. These beaches are also located near playgrounds, bike trails, and other recreational locations.

Willie’s Wee-Nee Wagon

Famous with locals, this hot dog and sandwich shop offers pet-friendly outdoor picnic areas for you and your dog (both the four-legged one and the one in your bun). Try their Brunswick Dog or their Fried Pork Chop – two of their most popular menu items.

Frederica Park

Located on the north end of St. Simons Island, this 4-acre park offers a great location for your pet to have some fun. There’s a dog park, a paved jogging trail, and even a hiking trail that features the city’s botanical restoration project.

Jekyll Island Dolphin Tours

Get a tour of the Golden Isles and see some Atlantic bottlenose dolphins along the way. On private tours, you can bring your furry friends.

Marshside Grill

Enjoy some of Georgia’s best surf n’ turf at this laid back restaurant. Your canine companions are welcome in the outdoor dining area.
