WEATHER IS WARMING UP! HERE ARE 4 AWESOME ACTIVITIES TO DO THIS MONTH

|

The weather is warming up in Georgia, which means it’s time to get out there and get your adventure on in and around the Brunswick area.

Southern Drifter Music Festival

The Jekyll Island Southern Drifter Music Festival isn’t just here for the melodies. From Friday, May 21, through Sunday, May 23, you’ll have your choice of golfing, beachside yoga sessions, luxurious spa experiences, songwriting workshops, delicious food and drinks, and plenty of musical performances. Tickets to the show start at $80 and the one-night package for a stay at the Westin Hotel starts at $420, with included bites and beverages for Saturday’s festival.

Bike Through the Islands

Late spring makes for perfect biking weather along coastal Georgia. Check out Zoom Bike Rental for all your equipment – they have everything from helmets and bike baskets to Kid Karts and beach cruisers.

Explore Coastal Georgia by Boat

If you’ve never seen the Georgia coast at sunset – on the ocean on a boat – then you’re definitely missing out! Grab your closest friends and book a three-hour boat trip with SouthEast Adventure. Starting from Village Creek Landing on St. Simons, your boat ride will take you through the waterways between Sea Island and St. Simons for the ultimate sightseeing adventure. Tickets are $60 per person with a minimum booking of $300 – that means five of you can join in on this ocean-centric activity.

Go On a Kayaking or SUP Adventure

Get out and get some fresh air in this beautiful weather with a two-hour kayaking trip through the scenic open salt marshes of Glynn County. Or maybe try your hand – or arms –  at stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) for a killer upper body workout.

When you’re ready for more adventures and activities around coastal Georgia, you’ll definitely want to check out the other blog posts from Odyssey Lake!
