Ahh, coastal Georgia…this is the place to be when fall is just around the corner but summer weather is still with us. Here are some awesome Brunswick-area destinations you should totally check out before fall rolls around.
Sea Island Beach
What’s summer without the beach somewhere in the background? Pack up a tote bag, slip on your sandals, and head just 30 minutes to Sea Island Beach. Spend the afternoon relaxing on a sandy shoreline, dip your toes in the water, or better yet, bring a little picnic basket for the ultimate summer afternoon.
ECHO St. Simons
Breezy evenings sitting out on the patio of an upscale restaurant – what can get better than that? ECHO serves up handcrafted cocktails, an insanely good brunch, and some of the best seafood around town. So whether you’re dining with your special dinner date on Friday night, or meeting up with friends on Saturday morning, you’ll want to be at ECHO.
Blythe Island Regional Park
While the thought of going to a park may sound…well, boring, we can assure you Blythe Island Regional Park is anything but! Swim in the lake, spend the afternoon fishing, have a snack at one of the picnic pavilions, and be sure to stick around for sunset – it’s quite a view.
Where are you headed first? While there are just a few local hotspots on this list, you’re sure to find more when you check out other Odyssey Lake blog posts.
