Color Me Happy
Color Me Happy is a family-owned mobile pottery and art studio specializing in bringing the fun and classes to you. Mother and daughter team, Meghan and Lois, believe there is a hidden artist in everyone and use simple techniques to get you making and creating. It's the perfect way to celebrate a birthday, liven up a corporate event, or jump-start a local fundraiser.
One of their most popular classes is the Paint Your Own Pottery workshop offered for all ages and all skill levels. You pick out what you want to paint and Meghan and Lois will guide you through the process. The finished pieces are fired, glazed, and returned to you in a week. Color Me Happy also leads workshops in canvas and board art as well as clay projects for the little ones. It's a win/win for the community.
Diamond Sewing
Diamond Sewing is the realized dream of Adell Campbell who, at a young age, was introduced to the sewing arts by her talented grandmother. She is known for fashioning fabulous custom garments and for altering or reimagining clothing you already have. Adell can also help with interior design projects with upholstery work and made-to-order drapery and quilts.
Adell enjoys sharing her knowledge with others offering several one-on-one sewing classes in her shop. Beginners are taught how to use and thread a sewing machine, cut and pin patterns, and make basic items like pillows and aprons. Intermediate and more advanced classes include learning about measurements and choosing the right fabric. You will be wearing your own handmade clothing before you know it.
