As we continue to weave our way through these unprecedented times, many of us crave the distraction of our favorite sports teams clashing on the gridiron, court, rink, or field. And though it’s been a bit augmented, the sports games go on, albeit with a tad fewer fans in the stands. And as our beloved sports franchises have adapted to the “new normal”, so have our favorite sports watching establishments. With that in mind, here are three great pubs in Tampa for watching your favorite sports games.
If you’re looking for a classic sports pub vibe this is definitely gonna be your jam. Established in 1997 Hattricks Tavern has become a Tampa mainstay. This place not only boasts a tasty pub menu, drink specials and a killer happy hour, the location itself is spacious and is packed with High Definition TV’s so every seat is great for taking in all the sports action. From NFL playoffs to PGA Masters, Hattricks give you a great seat to view it all.
Ducky’s Sports Lounge
If you prefer a more dynamic food menu for your sports watching, Ducky’s knocks down all ten pins – a preemptive pun that’ll be funny here in a minute – Ducky’s menu is expansive and downright delectable. From Mexican burritos to Japanese sushi, you may come for the sports, but you stay for the food. Ducky’s is also spacious with plenty of room for patrons, plenty of hi-def flatscreen TV’s to catch all the action, and is the only sports bar on our list to feature an actual mini bowling alley! It took a minute to get back around to that pun, but we couldn't disappoint.
Buffalo Wild Wings
Easily the largest national chain of sports pubs in the United states, Buffalo Wild Wings has a standard and dependable look, feel, and menu no matter the location you choose – and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that! The sports watching is prime, the atmosphere is upbeat, the staff are on point, and the wings, well, you don’t have a name like Buffalo Wild Wings unless the wings are top shelf – which they are!
