Visitors at Tampa Bay History Center near Canopy at Citrus Park in Tampa, Florida

Tampa is known for its beautiful Gulf Coast beaches, world-class theme parks, and historic neighborhoods. Fortunately, for residents of our Tampa apartments, a diverse range of activities are available nearby. Due to its temperate climate, this vibrant city has plenty to do at any time of the year.

Year-round activities near the community include:

Listed as number one on Trip Advisor's, "Top 25 Beaches - United States", Clearwater Beach offers almost three miles of white sand beach with plenty of beach-side amenities, nearby attractions, and restaurants. It is known for its pristine water, dolphin sightings, and seemingly perpetual sunshine. Rent a beach chair, cabana or umbrella, and enjoy a day of serenity.

Ybor City is one of the many historic neighborhoods near downtown Tampa. It was founded by Cuban, Italian, and German immigrants in the late 1800s. Take a self-guided walking tour, visit an art gallery, and enjoy a fantastic meal at one of the many restaurants or sidewalk cafes.

Columbia Restaurant serves great Spanish dishes, but none more popular than their famous paella.

The Tampa Bay History Center is located in Tampa's Channelside District and highlights Florida and Tampa's history across three floors of exhibits. It includes many hands-on activities as well as cutting-edge interactive exhibits and theaters. Notable attractions include a showcase of Florida's ranching history by putting viewers in the middle of an actual cattle drive.
