THE RIDES

Perhaps the most important feature of an amusement park is the rides. Busch Gardens offers nine exhilarating roller coasters, such as the Egyptian-themed spin coasters "Cobra's Curse" and "Sheikra," which drops riders 200 feet at a 90-degree angle. For those looking for a more relaxing experience, "Skyride" takes guests across the park in a cable car to enjoy panoramic views and the "Congo River Rapids" takes groups on a large tube through a whitewater rafting expedition.

THE ANIMALS AND THE SAFARI

As mentioned previously, Busch Gardens is also a zoo. The park is themed after various African countries, so all of the animals can be found in Africa. Exhibits include rhinos, sloths, cheetahs, tigers, giraffes, lions, and many more. The cheetah exhibit features educational shows with animal trainers and zoologists. In addition, Busch Gardens offers a safari ride where patrons embark on a guided tour and meet many animals in a free-roam environment. The safari also includes a stop where guests may feed giraffes!
