Although the unsuspecting storefront may not imply as much, Hole in One Donuts is by far the highest-rated donut shop in Tampa. Awarded 4.9 stars on Google with 1,000+ reviews, this old-school shop is flat out a must-try. You seemingly can’t go wrong with any of their traditional offerings, but don’t sleep on the cronuts, apple fritters, and jalapeno pigs in a blanket either.

Simply Done Donuts
“Lil donuts. Big flavor.” Simply Done Donuts’ tagline says it all. With varieties like PB&J, Snickers, Samoas, Elvis, and Fruity Pebbles, this place is anything but typical – in the best way possible. We recommend trying a flight of four for $5, and thanking us later.

Nicola’s Donut Shop
Handmade since 1982, Nicola’s does donuts right. In this adorable shop, you’ll find more than 10 classic cake flavors, plus so much more. From fancy raised donuts like frosted animal cracker and fried Oreo to vegan cake donuts like brownie explosion and cookie butter vanilla, you’re sure to find a new obsession. And if you do, request it as your next birthday cake! Nicola’s makes giant donuts for special occasions.

Bakeshop or art gallery? It’s hard to tell. Dough is one of the most gorgeous donut shops you’ll ever step foot in. With bright, bold colors, quirky yet classic decor, and infinite ways to satisfy your sweet tooth, there’s something for everyone. Coffee, ice cream, cake, pie, donuts – it’s all here. Stop in, and pick your flavor.

Cosmic Donuts
Not your average donut shop, you won’t regret making the trek across the bay to St. Pete to visit Cosmic Donuts. Otherworldly flavors include red velvet cake, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, banana pudding, and peanut cake. Beyond donuts, try a bagel with lox, a Cosmic Freeze blended beverage, nitro cold brew, or a Planet Jupiter sandwich – two eggs, cheese, and bacon served on a glazed donut.
