Florida is a great place to celebrate New Year’s Eve, no matter where you live in the state. But there are a few cities that have a particularly exciting approach to this holiday.
If you want to ring in the New Year with a bang, consider one of these destinations.
St. Pete, as it is called, is ready to wow you with their First Night event. This year marks their 29th celebration of the arts, and it’s bound to be a good one! You’ll be able to enjoy live performances, music, sea creature puppets, bubble stomping, aerial art, creative activities, dance, a scavenger hunt, and of course, fireworks! Just be sure to grab your admission pass as soon as possible!
Ready for a classy, indulgent celebration? Head over to Tampa and spend New Year’s Eve on Yacht StarShip. You’ll get to enjoy cocktails, a gourmet dinner, and dancing, as well as a refreshing flute of Champagne just before midnight. This two-hour cruise will take you through the waterways of Tampa and will culminate with a view of the local fireworks celebration as 2022 begins.
There’s nothing more Florida than a beach celebration with fireworks. Check out Light It Up Clearwater this New Year’s Eve for a fun, casual way to ring in the new year. Presented by Amplify Clearwater, this event will give you a whole new view of the beautiful waters of the Gulf of Mexico, bathed in the light from the fireworks.
Naples is another town that knows how to do New Year’s Eve right. The fireworks start at 7 PM at the Naples Pier. Visitors are welcome to bring chairs, blankets, and other items to make themselves comfortable on the beach while enjoying the 25-minute show. And with an early celebration like this, you can fit in other activities, like the New Year’s Eve party at Blue Martini Lounge.
A list of the best locations for New Year’s Eve celebrations in Florida wouldn’t be complete without Miami. Perhaps its most famous NYE event is the party at the Hilton Miami. There’s an open bar, buffet, party favors, laser lights, confetti, dance music, and of course, Champagne. Pick up your ticket as soon as possible!
