We've rounded up three of our favorite places for off-roading near the best apartments in Lantana, FL, so that you can hit the trails as soon as possible.

Tate's Hell

Tate's Hell is a popular destination for ATV riders, who can enjoy a 3.5-mile trail with a maximum elevation of 1,000 feet. The trail runs through wet pine flatwoods and cypress swamps, offering riders an easy ride through some of Florida's most beautiful scenery. Tate's Hell also offers plenty of opportunities to spot wildlife - deer, wild hogs, and bobcats are regular residents at this park.

Blackwater River

The Blackwater River is a tributary of the Withlacoochee River in central Florida. It's a popular spot for ATV off-roading, and there are many trails to explore on this 46-mile-long waterway. The Blackwater Trail is one of these trails. It has been carefully designed so riders can choose between different difficulty levels depending on their skill level or experience level. The trail is open year-round, but it can get very hot during the summer months. With temperatures often reaching into the 90s (°F), it's best to plan your day accordingly and bring plenty of water.

Withlacoochee State Forest

Withlacoochee State Forest is a great place to go ATV off-roading. It's also an excellent choice for camping and fishing. The name of this river means "big crooked water" – but don't let that fool you! The Withlacoochee River is one of the largest rivers in Florida without dams or locks. It's about 110 miles long (and goes through Georgia) with about 6 miles of forest trails. Withlacoochee State Forest has plenty of wildlife, including deer, turkeys, raccoons, and even bears!
