Shop for Locally Made Goods at the Riverside Arts Market in Jacksonville
To shop for local goods, head to the Riverside Arts Market. This lively destination welcomes over 100 makers, bakers, and farmers every Saturday between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. The market is an easy drive from our Jacksonville apartments and it welcomes shoppers rain or shine. Here are a few of the vendors you'll discover:
Urban Folk Farm
Nestled on the westside of Jacksonville, the Urban Folk Farm had its first growing season in 2014. Today, it produces a wide variety of fruits and vegetables. The team uses holistic farming practices. That means they ensure the food is safe to eat right out of the fields. Depending on the season, offerings may include strawberries, curly kale, and watermelon radish.
Bubba's Bistro & Barkery
The treats at Bubba's Bistro & Barkery will have your pup wagging his tail for more. The bakers create the goodies by hand. They only use human-grade ingredients and take pride in offering wholesome treats that all dogs can enjoy. One of the many offerings includes Bubba's sampler. It features turkey Parmesan mutt balls, cheesy bone cookies, and other tasty bites.
Body & Soul
AJ Copeland and Vanessa Alvarado bonded over their mutual passion for holistic living. Today, they proudly own Body & Soul. The couple started out of their apartment before opening brick-and-mortar locations here in Jacksonville and Brunswick, Georgia. The extensive collection features over 200 herbal, aromatherapy, and spiritual care products. Offerings include hazelnut soy wax candles, aromatherapy room sprays, and Florida orange soap bars.
