Woman selling baked goods near The Hawthorne in Jacksonville, Florida

Support local, get outdoors, and pick up some fresh goodies all in one hyper-local destination – the quaint little neighborhood market. And by market, no, we don’t mean your local Rowe’s or Harveys. We mean the real deal farmers markets with pop-up tent vendors and farm-fresh harvests. Check out this go-to guide for the best ones in and around Jax.

1. Jacksonville Farmers Market

Located just 1 mile west of downtown Jax, the JFM is open daily – how cool – from 7 AM to 5 PM. Pick out fresh fruits and vegetables, specialty cheeses, drinks, baked goods, seafood, and houseplants.

2. Pecan Park Flea & Farmers' Market

This traditional flea market, situated just 30 minutes north of The Hawthorne, is a must-see. From antiques and jewelry to everyday household items, you can browse through each vendor’s items from 9 AM to 5 PM every Saturday.

3. Riverside Arts Market

Set up under the overpass of the I-95 on Riverside Avenue, here, you can explore vendors offering goods from Greek food to street art. This market is open on Saturdays from 10 AM to 3 PM.

4. Orange Park Farmers' Market

Voted Best Farmers Market in Northeast Florida, expect to see vendors selling produce, homemade crafts, and tasty food on Saturdays from 10 AM to 2 PM. This market even features plant-based food vendors, food trucks, and live music.
