Lift your spirits, focus on the good, and help bring healing energy into each other's lives with a little gratitude this holiday season. With that in mind, Mirador & Stovall at River City is bringing you some ideas on what you could be thankful for in 2020.
1. Traditions
While we may not be jumping on flights to visit friends on the West Coast or having big family gatherings around a holiday meal, we can still celebrate the traditions we hold with our loved ones, our friends, and ourselves. Whether it’s cooking a meatloaf instead of turkey or whipping up blueberry pancakes before opening gifts, now is the perfect time to keep those traditions going – to be thankful for the times you’ve shared together during those traditions and what they represent for you. And 2020 could be a great year to start a new tradition!
2. The Changing of the Season
As the temperature dips and the rain comes around a bit more often, the passing of seasons brings us a refreshing change from the summer heat. Plus, the changing seasons means the holidays are just around the corner.
3. More Time Spent with Loved Ones
With staying in more often and bringing your office to your home, this means we have the opportunity to spend more time with our loved ones – and our pets too! While sometimes they can get on our last nerve, we also can cherish the time we have with them.
