Celebrate in PJs

Besides listening to the rowdy fireworks going off in the distance, or even seeing them from your apartment window, a long-standing tradition some households do year-over-year is watching the NYE ball drop in Time Square New York. This year it’s even more virtual for your at-home viewing pleasure! You could, instead, watch New Year’s Eve themed movies, play a few rounds of board games while listening to music, or work on fun crafty projects.

Make a Vision Board

The art of manifestation: creating a visual dream board with goals, wants, and wishes – this is an excellent way to head into 2021. Using one of the most powerful mind exercises, visualization, you can create a fun representation of your hopes and dreams to put on display with a personalized vision board. To make one you’ll need scissors, a few old magazines, a poster board, and a glue stick.

Create a Time Capsule

A time capsule, the perfect New Year’s Eve activity. You can make a portable time capsule to keep as a sentimental item on display in your home. With plenty of container options to choose from (even an old shoebox could work), you’ll love passing by it, sitting on the bookcase in your apartment, and remembering the special memories it holds from 2020.

Grab a Drink

Did someone say “New Year's bar”? We did! Ring in the new year with a bubbly drink! Stop by the leasing office for our Cape House "Happy Hour" on December 31st from 5pm-6pm. Be sure to bring a valid photo ID, as we will be checking them – see you there!
