From space-saving bistro sets for dining alfresco to a relaxing hammock or hanging chair for afternoon lounging, there are endless ways to find comfort outdoors. Start with the main seating area(s), before decorating the rest of the patio or balcony – and don’t forget to add a comfy spot for your furry friend too!

Add Textiles & Decor

To amp up the leisure on your outdoor living quarters even more, toss a few outdoor pillows on the seating areas, add in a throw blanket, and place a weather-resistant rug under the furniture to tie it all together. Put out a faux candle on the bistro set or style the space with a small sculpture for some aesthetic appeal and you’re well on your way to a trendy little outdoor area!

Pop in Some Greenery

What’s a patio or balcony without plants? Make the most of your space with some fresh greenery! Visit your local plant nursery and ask an associate for the most ideal foliage to keep on your patio or balcony based on the amount of sunlight it receives throughout the day. For some inspiration to get you started, you could place a small succulent or air plant on your bistro table and then a larger potted everillo grass plant in the corner.
