HOLIDAY SHOPPING 2021: 4 REASONS TO START SHOPPING NOW

|

We may have just entered Pumpkin Spice Latte season, but now is a great time to look ahead to the holidays and start shopping for your friends and loved ones. While you may feel it’s a little early to be checking off that holiday list, we’ve got four great reasons why you need to start your holiday shopping now.

Avoid The Crowds

If you’re one of those people who truly enjoys the thrill of the hunt and shopping in person, this reason alone should make you want to start shopping now. As the holidays approach, stores become busier, more crowded, and more of a burden to visit than bringers of joy. Consider your early start to holiday shopping a treat to yourself, and avoid the swarms of people as the holidays approach.

Get Your First Pick

Yes, the longer you wait, the more likely it is items will be out of stock or on backorder. Some more desirable items may already be on backorder, anyway, thanks to COVID and manufacturing delays. So it’s best to order them early to ensure you get what you want.

Stick to Your Budget

We’ve all been there – running to the store on Christmas Eve to get the gift that one person has to have, only to find it’s way overpriced. That scenario may be even more likely with the product scarcity we mentioned above. By getting out there and pricing things early, you’ll have more time to seek out the best prices.

Give Intentionally

Shopping early means you can take the time to really think about who you need to shop for and what it is they most need or love. Don’t spend money on another gift that will likely end up in the donation pile. Instead, wow that person with a well-thought-out, from-the-heart present.

Enjoy a less stressful holiday season by shopping early. For more holiday ideas and goodness, check out Cape House's blog.
