Endless Sun Surf School

Endless Sun opened in 1963, making it the oldest surf school in Newport Beach. The instructors are professional surfers who boast years of experience. They welcome all skill levels and will have you riding the waves in no time. You'll learn at the Newport Pier. The waves average two to three feet and are perfect for learning. Both group and private lessons are available. Surfboards and wetsuits are included in the cost.

Learn to Surf

Learn to Surf welcomes everyone from first-timers to seasoned professionals looking to hone their skills. Founder Jason Murchison could swim before he could walk. He later became a Navy seal and now enjoys helping everyone develop a passion for surfing. Jason and his team offer private lessons. You can learn on your own or alongside your friends. The beginner sessions include stretching, sand drills, surfing etiquette, and catching a wave by yourself.

Clint Carroll Surf School

At the Clint Carroll Surf School, you'll surf on the first day. The Carroll family has over 60 years of surfing experience. They have honed their skills around the world, and hold group and private lessons led by highly qualified instructors. Sessions are offered daily (except on holidays), and all necessary equipment is provided. When you're ready to surf on your own, the school offers board and wetsuit rentals.
