If you’re itching to get out and hear some incredible live music in the Irvine area, we’ve got just the thing for you.
The Storytellers at Hangar 24 Craft Brewery
You’ve probably heard of The Storytellers, a Los Angeles-based bluegrass band. They’ve toured all over California and are performing at the Hangar 24 Craft Brewery on April 18. The best part is: this show is free. Enjoy their eclectic folk, blues, and bluegrass blends, and their amazing acoustic covers of your favorite Grateful Dead tunes.
Kolohe Kai at House of Blues Anaheim
Originally scheduled for last November, this Hawaiian band will be performing at the House of Blues Anaheim on April 26. This island reggae and pop music is the perfect way to ring in spring.
The Kingston Trio at The Coach House
This iconic folk group is still going strong, after more than 60 years of live performances. The newest members were tightly connected with the original three, their music a tapestry of collaboration that’s been stitched together over the decades. They are scheduled to play at San Juan Capistrano’s The Coach House on April 25 (but pay close attention to The Coach House’s online schedule just to be sure).
Skynyrd Reloaded at The Doll Hut
This tribute band has been rocking Southern California for nearly 10 years, letting old-school Skynyrd fans relive the good old days and inviting new Skynyrd fans to tap into the energy of this high-octane rock music. They’ll be playing at Anaheim’s World Famous Doll Hut on April 3.
Buckcherry at The Coach House
If the Kingston Trio isn’t quite your style, Buckcherry’s electric performance at The Coach House might be more your speed. As they say in their song Warpaint, “I wanna have fun / Blowin’ out your eardrums / Keep it rockin’ state to state.” And they’ll deliver on that promise this April 11.
