Whether you have been living in a Peoria apartment for a while now, just moved in, or are thinking about moving here, visiting our local parks is a great way to explore the city. Each park has its own character and there's so much to do at each one! Get out and get active at these three parks near our apartments in Peoria, AZ.

Lake Pleasant Regional Park

An oasis in the middle of the desert, Peoria's Lake Pleasant Regional Park offers gorgeous vistas and a unique collection of activities. When visitors go to the park, they can choose to go hiking, kayaking, fishing, camping, and even scorpion hunting! Visit their site to learn more and plan your visit today.

Pioneer Community Park

This park is a classic urban green space in Peoria with lots to offer. Features include several baseball and multipurpose fields, eleven picnic ramadas for open-air lunches with friends, and a five-acre pond regularly stocked with trout for fishing. Rio Vista Community Park and Recreation Center

Rio Vista is another excellent community park in Peoria. If you're a fan of pick-up sports, this park will be an ideal fit for you. In addition to multipurpose fields for pick-up games, there are designated fields for volleyball and softball. There's even a large recreation center and a skate park on-site. You can hop into any activity you can imagine! When you're done, grab a refreshing drink from the Sanctuary Café, open until 10 PM.
