Core Body is a small studio with just eight reformers. Each class provides hands-on, semi-private instruction, and offers a unique blend of traditional Pilates and dynamic strength training. Owner Melissa Olsen discovered Pilates eleven years ago after welcoming her first child, and she holds classes for all athletic abilities. They take place six days a week starting early in the morning, and choices include Tower, Circuit, and Jumpboard.

It was born out of a passion to establish a place of healing for others, and owner Teresa Porter is certified in both yoga and Pilates. She offers one-on-one and small group sessions, as well as a casual atmosphere where strangers become friends.
