Start Your Day with a Cup of Joe from Gilbert Coffee Shops
Whether you want to catch up with a friend at a quaint coffee shop or just need a change of scenery to get some work done, Gilbert coffee shops can help. These local coffee houses would love to serve you a fresh cup of coffee or a blended drink near our Gilbert apartments.
Coffee Rush
There are three locations of Coffee Rush in the area. They are proud of the coffee they serve, and in addition to the house blend, they have a daily specialty. Drinks can be made hot, iced, and frozen. Customize your drink with premium flavors, including many that are sugar-free. They also have non-coffee drinks like Italian soda, tea, and chai. There isn't a large selection of food, but the baklava is delicious. Make sure you get a loyalty card to start earning free drinks. Mobile ordering is also available. You can visit Coffee Rush at 53 N Val Vista Drive in Gilbert.
The Coffee Shop
You would think that a place called The Coffee Shop likely only sells coffee. However, that is not the case. In addition to lattes, caramel macchiatos, and mochas, this adorable cafe serves delicious breakfast items. Try a waffle, egg, and meat-filled burrito or quinoa bowl. They also have a lunch menu with sandwiches, paninis, and fish tacos (on Fridays only). You have to indulge in a cupcake; the owner was a winner of Food Network's Cupcake Wars. They also have muffins, scones, and other homemade pastries. The Coffee Shop is located at 3000 E Ray Road. Online ordering is available through their website.
Black Rock Coffee
Although it's not a small business anymore, Black Rock Coffee started as a family-owned business in Oregon in 2008. With grit and determination, they have expanded to have over 100 stores in seven states. This store has a drive-through, so you can quickly get your drink and be on your way. If you need a caffeine jolt, order the "I.V.," which has six espresso shots. They have non-coffee energy drinks, shaken teas, and smoothies. The Black Rock Coffee at 1829 E Williams Field Road is less than a mile from Redstone at San Tan Village.
A large coffee from these Gilbert shops will give you the energy you need to spend a few hours on a stand-up paddle board. Water sports are just one of the fun ways to spend time outside in Arizona.
