Flagstaff is fast becoming a foodie hangout, and here at Mountain Trail, we’re always on the lookout for trendy spots popping up around town. Hop into these four hot new destinations for a full day of delectable foods and quaffable beverages.
Juice Pub & Eatery
Located in downtown Flagstaff, Juice Pub & Eatery is here to make our mornings better. Brighten your day with a cold-pressed juice made from farm-fresh fruits and veggies, plus a delicious and artful Pub Bowl. Start with the classic Acai or spice it up and try the Dragon – a blend of mango, pineapple and dragon fruit loaded with sweetened coconut flakes, spicy candied pecans, and a cayenne honey drizzle. Looking for a quick and tasty weekday lunch? Grab one of their gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches or a fancy toast with a juice shot on the side. Whatever you’re feeling, Juice Pub makes a great nutrition-rich way to start your day.
Vino Loco
If you haven’t been yet, book your next after-work hangout at Vino Loco. At this cool new downtown wine bar and bottle shop, everything starts and ends with the wine selection, which is one of the best in Flagstaff and features a range of varietals from all over the world. Their helpful staff can point you in the right direction when you’re looking for the perfect bottle for your next dinner party. If you’re feeling peckish, settle in and order a charcuterie with specialty cheese and meat selections updated daily. With beer on tap and an impressive cider selection, they’ve got all your libation needs covered.
Atria
Debuting this month, Atria is the brainchild of critically acclaimed chef Rochelle Daniel, known for serving up mind-blowing plates at Fat Ox in Scottsdale. To get a glimpse of the quality and artistry of what you can expect at Atria, check out their Instagram, which features sample dishes like a snapper cooked in coconut oil with lemongrass, apple, and celery root, and a smoked short rib with celeriac puree and bordelaise sauce. While there’s still a little mystery behind this eagerly anticipated new eatery, one thing’s for sure: You’ll want to be one of the first through the door.
Yucca North
A new venture from the owners of the beloved Yucca Tap Room in Tempe, Yucca North makes a welcome addition to Flagstaff’s nightlife. This laid-back neighborhood hangout serves up local craft beers and whiskeys in a friendly venue where you can hear fun live music. There’s plenty here to keep everyone entertained – even the designated driver – thanks to their selection of vintage pinball and arcade games. Heading out to Yucca North will send everyone home with good vibes.
