As we continue to barrel ever closer to winter the change in season comes with a corresponding change in our pallet. As the days get shorter, our drinks get hotter. With that in mind, here are three fall drinks you can make at home.

Pumpkin Pie Latte

Come on, you knew it was coming. Pumpkins have become so synonymous with fall they can be used as a comparative phrase, without problem. We could say, “Those two go together like pumpkins and fall.” and you wouldn’t bat an eyelash. But we digress. It would’ve been easy to suggest the indomitable pumpkin spice latte, but that fruit hangs a little too low. Instead, we suggest the pumpkin pie latte. It’s an espresso drink that’s easy to make, tastes great, and packs the perfect amount of spiciness.

Slow Cooker Apple Cider

The timeless drink for all ages. Sure, you could go to the store and get the powdered pack, drop it into some water and be on your way, but chances are you’re staying home more than usual, so why not take the time to do this right. Slow cooker apple cider is exactly what it sounds like, apple cider made in a slow cooker. All you have to do is take all the recipe ingredients, put them in a slow cooker, turn it on high for 11 and a half hours and you’re good to go.

Hot Toddy

Nothing wrong with a classic. Hot toddies taste great and are good for you. This whiskey-infused concoction has been known to reduce cold symptoms and warm you up on those chilly fall mornings. Think of it like an adult version of those Flinstone vitamins you used to take as a kid.
