Enjoy a taste of Chicago at Oregano's Pizza Bistro, a family-style Italian restaurant chain that has been serving Arizona since 1993. The first restaurant opened in Scottsdale and the food has become so popular that they've expanded across the state. Signature Oregano's Decor

Oregano's decor will transport you to the 1950s. Each restaurant uses their signature green and red color scheme and although the vintage decorations might look the same, each location is home to unique antiques hand-selected and hand-placed by founder Mark Russell as a tribute to his late parents. 

Chicago-Style Pizza

Some of their most popular menu items are their Chicago-style pizzas with a Southwestern flair. The restaurant offers pan pizzas, a thin crust, or stuffed pizzas, but they each have a unique twist. For example, their Puerto Peñaso Carne Street Pie, which features a classic Chicago thin crust but is topped with marinated carne asada, cilantro pesto, and Pico de Gallo— and served with a bottle of Cholula Hot Sauce.

Signature Pasta

Don't let their famous pizza steer you away from their pasta dishes. The Italian chain offers classics like the Italian flag lasagna and the Coop de Ville jumbo chicken parmesan crafted from family recipes. If you're feeling a little more adventurous, try their big rig pasta or order the all-you-can-eat original bollo pasta.

Dessert

Despite their large portions, you'll want to save room for dessert. Oregano's is most well-known for their Original Pizza Cookie®, a 1/2 pound of slightly baked chocolate chip, peanut butter chocolate, or white chocolate macadamia nut dough served with three scoops of vanilla bean ice cream. Like any Italian restaurant, they also offer an old-fashioned New York cheesecake.
