Are you looking for ways to celebrate this spooky time of year in and around Chandler? Try one of these upcoming events.
Pumpkin Dunk
You might not recognize the Mesquite Groves Aquatic Center on Oct. 30 – it will look like a floating pumpkin patch, rather than a pool. At this event, participants are encouraged to jump in to dunk for pumpkins. Grab your ticket today!
Xander P Halloween Party
If you love open mic events, live performances, and of course, candy, head to this party on Oct. 30 on W Western Drive in Chandler. It runs all afternoon and evening and admission is a steal.
A Very Not So Scary Halloween Party
At this mellow party, you’ll get a lot of treats without the tricks. No scares here! Just fun characters to meet and greet – a perfect photo op! (And yes, you can ask for their autograph.) This event runs all day on Oct. 24, at Stage Door Studio, with new sessions beginning at 9 AM, 11 AM, 1 PM, and 3 PM. Purchase a ticket for the session you want to attend. Children’s tickets cover a craft and candy.
Spooky Animals Halloween Science
Head over to the Environmental Education Center on Oct. 30 from 10 AM to noon for this fun, educational event. Get everyone dressed up in their costumes and come learn about the science behind the spooky sights and occurrences associated with Halloween. This hands-on activity is a fun, inexpensive way to celebrate the holiday.
Phoenix Singles Halloween Bash
Though not in Chandler, this event is just a short drive away in Phoenix. In a triumphant return after a quiet 2020, this party on Oct. 30 at the Embassy Suites in Phoenix promises to be the best one yet. They’re hosting an epic costume contest with prizes like a Kindle and hotel reservations for New Year’s Eve. There will be dancing with nonstop tunes from DJ L’Boogie. And of course, there’s always the possibility that you might meet a new friend …or a love match.
